The garage · since 2019
Named after
the loudest thing
in Freetown.
A poda-poda is a shared minibus. It’s painted loud, it picks up anyone, it never runs empty and it always gets there. We started in a garage on Bus Stop Lane with one rule borrowed from the bus: if it doesn’t move people, it doesn’t leave.

Seven years later we’re a crew of eight with clients on six routes. We still do everything with five paints, no stock photos, and a lot of shouting across the room.

What we believe
- 01Loud is a kindness.
A brand nobody notices wastes the client’s money. We’d rather be seen.
- 02Everyone rides.
If the market woman doesn’t get it, it isn’t finished. We start again.
- 03Fixed fare.
You know the price before you get on. No meter running, no surprise stops.
- 04Always arrive.
We ship on the date we said. A great idea that misses launch is just a sketch.
Clients include Papayo, Tok Radio, Luma Market, Ferry & Fern, Mamie’s Kitchen, Bendu Swim, Kola Kola, City Loop, Krio Kicks, Salone Sound, Okada Express, Bintumani Water.
Want a seat on the bus?
We hire a couple of times a year: designers, illustrators and developers who like loud work and shipping on time.
